The Singapore Operations team oversees, shapes and grows the business in Grab Singapore. We contribute towards Grab’s vision of being Southeast Asia’s superapp by providing everyday services that matter most to consumers in Singapore. We develop and execute business strategies that help us achieve our vision in serving our community.
The Marketplace Management team is a newly formed team housed within Singapore Operations. We focus on driving efficient allocation and matching of driver supply to customers. Our work contributes to timely and affordable rides for customers, enhances the incomes of our driver partners and supports business growth.
Get to know the role:
- The role will report to the Head of marketplace for Singapore
- Plan and experiment with drivers’ incentives to optimize drivers’ acquisition and retention
- Experiment with supply levers to improve drivers’ efficiency and earnings
- Work closely with key stakeholders in the Transport and Food teams to: a)manage drivers’ acquisition and retention cost
- Work with Partner Care team to understand drivers’ sentiment on the ground
- Work with Market Intelligence team for competition benchmark
- Own driver life-cycle segmentation from acquisition to monetization
The must have:
- A degree from a decent university in any discipline
- Minimum 1 to 2-years relevant working experience, in management/strategic consulting, Operation planning, F&B/food/QSR, eCommerce and/or start-ups
- Ability to consistently perform comfortably under pressure in a dynamic, ultra-fast-paced environment
- Quantitative discipline with business sense and ability to articulate complex analyses results to a wide range of audiences and translate these to actionable business insights
- Meticulous, strong attention to details
- Confident in processing and analyzing complex data sets using Excel. Working understanding of SQL is desirable
- Able to dive into problems and understand root-causes
- Strong communication skills and excellent team player with strong work ethics
