Security Systems Manager, Regional

Grab’s Security team supports the organization across multiple geographies and business units. We plan, execute and enforce policies and standards to ensure the security of our people, facilities and other key assets. We also support management with security insights and advisory.

Get to know the Role:

• Assist to steer leadership and management teams along the organization’s Physical Security Project Management;

• Develop internal standards and design for premises security provision, electronic and physical;

• Working with stakeholders for the best security provision for Grab's premises

The day-to-day activities:

• Steer leadership and management teams along with the organization’s Physical Security Management standard design and provision for Grab's premises;

• Develop internal standards and design for electronic and physical security;

• Understand the respective country’s business objectives and provide security advisory and solutions;

• Lead and deliver end to end physical security management projects; ensuring that the projects are delivered on time and on budget;

• Manage vendor relationships, performance reviews, and service provision;

• Actively monitor the Physical Security Management KPIs Regionally in regards to premises and projects for risk identification and mitigation;

• Continually improve and explore physical security project management, both electronic and physical;

• Collect and manage information or process data to identify meaningful trends for risk identification and mitigation

• Augment the Country Teams in dealing with Physical Security premises standards and projects related to them

​The must haves:

• Minimally bachelor's degree - 6+ years of experience;

• 3+ years in Physical Security Management in a multinational company with regional exposure is preferred

• Experience Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (“CPTED”) preferred

• Experience Threat, Vulnerability and Risk Assessment (“TVRA“) preferred

• Experience in project management preferred

• Experience in cybersecurity preferred

• An analytical mindset with the ability to present and execute on actionable findings;

• Possess good problem solving/decision making, communication and interpersonal skills;

• Strong judgment and moral compass;

• Executive presence to be able to influence leaders across the organization;

• An ability to work cross-functionally, independently or virtually in a minimally structured and fast-paced environment;

• Self-motivated to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and to meet deadlines;

• Be traveling on an ad hoc basis (less than 5 days per month);

• Good working knowledge of security management practices and principles

• Knowledgeable about local security context and trends within the region is a plus

• Proficiency in productivity tools (email, calendar, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Solid spoken and written communication skills;

• Start-up experience a plus;

• Stay current on industry and governmental regulations, and develop strong relationships with law enforcement, government or private sector counterparts;

• Existing network of private and public sector contacts.
