At Tiki, our Search team's mission is to help customers find anything they’re looking for as efficient as possible. We’re working on a variety of exciting challenges such as understanding query intent, misspelling correction, result ranking, faceting and reinforcement learning. 

 

We’re seeking a Search Consultant to assist us in building next generation search platform that includes query interpretation, classification techniques, relevance, ranking, search quality to distributed indexing and retrieval infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have deep technical expertise and practical experience building e-commerce search for millions of products.

 

We’re looking for your advice on these topics:

• Top line metrics to measure search relevance, quality
• Organizational structure of a Search team based on domains within Search
• Identification of areas to improve for Tiki Search in all components: natural language processing, query understanding, query expansion and ranking
• Architecture assessment to ensure low latency and maximize scalability in the long term
• Scalable, cloud-based solutions that empower AI engineers to setup, train and optimize various models
• Experimental platform to minimize time spent on creating A/B tests which maximizes learning
