SCM Planning Assistant Manager

Job Summary

CJ Foods Vietnam is looking for a dynamic, strategic, and results-driven SCM Planning Assistant Manager to join our team. This role plays a vital role in optimizing supply chain operations to meet customer demand effectively, minimize costs, manage inventory efficiently, and enhance overall supply chain performance for Domestic In house product

Key Responsibilities

1. Demand Forecasting:

• Collaboration with Commercial team (MKT/Trade MKT/CS-SO/Sales) and Finance (MA) teams to accurately forecast customers demand for Domestic - In-house product.

2. Inventory management:

• Ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing excess stock or shortages.

3. Performance monitoring:

• Tracking KPI: Forecast Accuracy (FA), Forecast Bias (FB), OOS, SLOB & DOI to access the effectiveness of the S&OP process and make data-driven decisions.

4. Others:

• Scenario Planning: conduct scenario analysis to evaluate different supply chain scenarios and develop contingency plans to respond to changing market conditions.

• People development: build capability for planner in term of planning academy as well as communication.

• A Bachelor degree or equivalent.

• Major in Supply chain/ Operation/ Business or have a passion for it.

• Proven experience in demand planning, supply chain management, inventory control, or related fields. This typically includes 3 - 5 years of progressive experience in supply chain planning roles. 

• Abilities in written and spoken English.

• Supply chain expertise: in-depth knowledge of demand forecasting, inventory management, production planning, and supply chain processes.
