Sales Manager, GrabFood VN

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and managing strong business relationships with existing and potential merchant partners nationally to drive growth for GrabFood. You will lead all elements of business identification, strategy, partnerships, account management, and execution strategy. You will hire and manage a sales team, setting and achieving aggressive KPIs to grow the business.

The day-to-day activities:

  • Hire and train sales executives, assign roles, set KPIs and incentives structure
  • Monitor end to end deal making/ deal closing, includes prospecting new merchants and growing existing merchants
  • End to end deal managing (including working with country BD, transport, operations, marketing, and product ensure the success of the partnership)
  • Develop strong relationships with national key partners and identify merchant segments to target
  • Lead contract negotiations to establish a strong working partnership grounded on sustainable economics for both parties
  • Evaluate strategic and partnership opportunities, performing a broad range of quantitative and qualitative analyses
  • Work across functions to tailor merchant specific needs (e.g. customized reporting, supports, integrations)

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor (or above) degree in Business/ Management or equivalent
  • Minimum 5-6 years experience in business development, partnerships or equivalent role
  • Experience in F&B industry is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Vietnamese
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify and provide comprehensive solutions for varying customer needs
  • Ability to fuse business, strategy, finance and legal concepts to lead complex, multi-faceted deals
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
  • Have a competitive edge and thrive in a team environment
  • Be very organized and communicate well
