JOB SUMMARY:
- The Sales Executive (Local Account Management) is responsible for supporting VIP and corporate customers by maintaining strong relationships, monitoring tender performance, and coordinating issue resolution.
- This role involves assisting with tender development, tracking KPIs, and contributing to team sales goals through collaboration and reporting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Customer Engagement & Support
- Maintain and grow relationships with VIP, global, and corporate tender clients through regular calls and visits.
- Understand customer business needs and KPIs, and provide timely solutions to ensure smooth and confident use of MSC services.
- Assist in resolving customer issues related to operations, documentation, logistics, invoicing, and credit by coordinating with relevant departments.
- Monitor customer feedback and escalate unresolved issues to the manager.
2. Tender & Performance Monitoring
- Closely track tender performance and loading activities against commitments and forecasts.
- Regularly update and report changes in customer KPIs to the manager and local teams.
- Collaborate with ARO, Negotiating Agents, and GVA to support tender development and execution.
- Compile and maintain schedules, lead times, and service updates for new tenders.
3. Internal Coordination & Reporting
- Monitor daily booking volumes and support customers in meeting volume commitments (weekly, monthly, yearly) as guided by GVA Liner.
- Share updates and instructions from the GVA Office and Regional Office with local teams, ensuring procedural compliance.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on KPIs, sales forecasts, and tender performance.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales goals and contribute to overall team success.
