Job requirement

1. Purpose:

The Sales Capability Development Specialist plays a critical role in designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs to build the capabilities of ILA’s sales force. This position focuses on enhancing performance, productivity, and professional growth — especially for a young, dynamic sales team with a high percentage of Gen Z professionals. You’ll act as a learning experience designer, facilitator, and performance partner to ensure the development of future-ready sales talent.

2. Key Responsibilities:

2.1. Training Needs Analysis & Planning

· Conduct in-depth training needs analysis (TNA) in collaboration with Sales Team.

· Translate business goals into annual/quarterly learning strategies and roadmaps aligned with performance KPIs.

2.2. Program Design & Learning Experience

· Design and develop structured learning journeys for sales roles.

· Create high-impact training content using modern learning methods: microlearning, blended learning, gamification, on-the-job learning, etc.

· Customize learning experiences that are engaging and relevant to Gen Z learners.

2.3. Training Delivery

· Facilitate training workshops on sales techniques, advisory, customer experience, objection handling, personal branding, and more.

· Deliver both in-person and virtual sessions effectively, ensuring maximum learner engagement.

· Collaborate with internal/external trainers, and learning vendors.

2.4. Training Evaluation & Optimization

· Evaluate training effectiveness, focusing on behavioral change and business impact.

· Analyze post-training data (completion rates, sales performance, engagement scores) to refine program effectiveness.

· Collect learner feedback to continuously improve content and delivery methods.

2.5. Internal Capability Building

· Support the development of internal trainers and facilitators.

· Coach frontline leaders and team supervisors on facilitation and mentoring skills.

Job requirement

Experience:

·       Minumum 6 years of experience in D&D, training delivery, or sales support roles

·       At least 3 years of experience in D&D/delivery leader roles.

·       Background in education, finance, banking, insurance, fintech industries.

Preferred:

·       Experience working with Gen Z learners and adapting training styles accordingly.

·       Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS), digital learning tools, and content authoring platforms.

·       Professional certifications such as TTT, 6Ds, or ATD… are a strong plus.

Skill & Knowlegde:

·       Sales Capability & Customer-centric Mindset

·       Technology Savvy in Learning Tools (LMS, Zoom/MS Team, Menti/Kahot/Slido, Canva…)

·       Stakeholder Management & Cross-functional Collaboration

·       Agility, Creativity & Growth Mindseus

Education:

·       Bachelor’s Degree or higher

Other Requirements:

·       Highly adaptable and flexible to a fast-paced environment.

·       Willingness to travel frequently.
