Reservations Clerk

Job requirement

  • To ensure all booking enquiries are provide with all information on green fee and associates rates
  • To ensure booking information is full and complete when receiving a booking request.
  • Sending out booking confirmations to the guest or industry operator.
  • To coordinate with departments on any corporate event bookings ensuring that accurate and clear offers are sent to client
  • To communicate clearly and efficiently with golf reception and golf ops on daily activity and special requirements
  • Operate effective tee time management procedures to ensure the availability are optimised.
  • Ensure all working areas are kept in a clean and tidy manner.

Job requirement

Skills & Knowledge Required:

  • Knowledge of golf tee time systems.
  • Understanding of the game, terminology and its principles.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Any additional languages are advantageous.
  • Possess good financial and business acumen.
  • Good service standard skills.
  • Ability to relate to staff and golfers from a variety of backgrounds.
  • Basic understanding of the Rules of Golf, golf handicapping systems and golf tournament formats.
  • Excellent organisational skills and be able to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.

Knowledge of word processing, spread sheet, accounting applications and database management software.

Work Experience & Education:

  • A minimum of 2-4 years experience in a international standard golf or hotel reception

Previous experience of working in a golf reception preferred.
