Research Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Receive project information from clients: Gather project requirements and details from international clients.

2. Create sketches and approve design drawings: Design product sketches and coordinate with clients to receive feedback, ensuring the product meets requirements.

3. Propose solutions and respond to client inquiries: Offer design, technical solutions, and address any issues raised by clients.

4. Develop and implement plans for staff: Create clear plans for production teams to ensure everyone understands the project requirements.

5. Review design documents and production materials: Ensure Fullsize drawings, Components, Patterns, Routing Molds, Packing guidelines, Carton layouts, AI, and Logo are accurate and aligned with production specifications.

6. Support production in problem-solving: Provide creative solutions and assist in addressing any challenges during the production process.

7. Assist suppliers (NCC) in understanding product requirements: Guide suppliers on product specifications and update them when there are changes from clients.

8. Train new employees: Provide training for new hires on processes and technical skills related to production.

9. Guide workers in reading technical drawings and identifying materials: Ensure that workers correctly interpret design drawings and identify materials accurately.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Design, or a related field.

• At least 3-5 years of experience in product development, particularly in the furniture industry.

• Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with various teams.

• Proficiency in reading and understanding technical drawings, and familiarity with design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).

• Experience working with international clients and understanding export markets.

• Good command of English (both written and spoken) is an advantage.
