The day-to-day activities:
Functional (Process/Technical/Operational)
- The role oversees support in identification, assessment and mitigation of group financial risks, i.e. liquidity, FX, interest rate, settlement, investment, counterparty credit, market, fraud, project, regulatory risks etc, working closely with the wider Grab community towards company objectives
- Monitor Liquidity positions and Execute Foreign Exchange transactions to support liquidity within the group.
- Develop/review financing strategy, capital structure and banking requirements in service of corporate strategy.
- Responsible for control & governance efforts in bank account architecture, management (e.g. opening, closing and maintenance) and banking approval matrix.
- Demonstrate an acute sense of business acumen, bringing both technological and business sense ensuring alignment within and external to Treasury.
- Further formalize Treasury policies/ procedures and implementation across geographies and identify automation/ simplification efforts.
- Work closely within the wider Finance teams to support new product and company initiatives.
- Take on other areas or initiatives as required and act as back up to other Treasury team members
To also support Grab Financials & GrabPay as follow:
- Handling cash management and coordinate with business/respective country finance to deliver the Group outstanding loan portfolio/balances on monthly basis.
- Manage and execute the funding/ repatriation requirement between holding co and opco c
- Perform reconciliation between Card Network & Settlement parties, coordinate with country finance and provide the single source of truth to be reliance by country finance.
- Prepare a monthly dashboard and foreign currency risk and analytics
- Forex risk exposure and spread management
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
Degree in Accounting/Finance/Treasury or professional Treasury qualifications.
Technical Skills
- Excel skills in building and analysing financial models and exposure to ERP/Accounting/Treasury systems.
- Knowledge of tools/ products/ initiatives in the market relevant to improve Treasury efficiency and effectiveness.
- Experience in executing FX transactions and Cash Management
Specific experience
- Possess strong combination of business/commercial acumen and translating plans into execution.
- Financial mind-set and able to translate business queries into financial analysis.
- Preferably experience working in a fast-paced environment with high performing teams.
- Strong level of integrity and trust and not afraid to raise concerns or highlight opportunities.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience.
