Regional sales manager

Job purpose:

Accountable for the achievement of agreed Regional sales volume and revenue budget.

Key Accountabilities

-       To develop actionable sales strategies and tactical plans to support achievement of budget. Promptly communicate expectation especially in the area of required depth & width of distribution, display standards, merchandising/promotion activities and opportunities for improvement to sales staff.

-       Establish strategic mechanics for Distributors’ monthly, quarterly/yearly incentive scheme.

-       Identify employee’s strength & weaknesses through working with them in the field, conducting quality calls, observing market condition, competitor activities and reviewing sales and other company’s reports.

-       Where brand distribution is non-existent or at unacceptable levels, implement schemes to gain shelf space and display.

-       Involve in the process of rationalization and appointment of Sales Staff and Distributor.

-       Involve with understanding the training needs of sales personnel.

Motivate sales personnel by clearly defining job responsibilities and training them to achieve  agreed standards. Develop good communication at all level. Provide both verbal and written feedback on performances when working in the field.

-       Complete all reports as required.-       Conduct a monthly business review meeting with sales team.-       Any other tasks assigned by the superior from time to time.

Job requirements / Qualifications

Graduated from University of Sales and Marketing or related subjects

Have at least 3 years experience working in the same position or equivalent

English B level or higher

Proficiency in FMCG
