R&D Verification & Testing Engineer (Open For Senior Level)

Summary : As an R&D Verification & Testing Engineer, you will focus on fast testing methods for design concept selection, creative test-to-limit experiments, and providing critical input for product design and tolerance analysis.

I. RANGE OF DUTIES:

A. Develop verification testing methods to prove the product fully accommodation customer and industrial standard requirements. Verify extreme cases as input for Tolerance Analysis and Product / Design FMEA.

B. Accountable for the test plan (by DOE - Design of Experiment) to prove or disprove hypotheses. Coordinate sufficient resources (equipment, tools, software, operator...) and optimize testing cost and timeline.

C. Data analysis: consolidate model (theory) and reliable & repeatability measurement data based on statistical/data-driven evidence as input for design concept selection.

1.Education: Bachelor in Engineering or Technical (ME, EE, Materials, Physics…) or Preferably Master or higher education

2. Professional knowledge of

• Experience with stage-gate development systems & development from project definition and kick-off to start of production.
• Experience performing design verification activities including DoE, authoring test protocols, reports and test execution. Types of testing & measurement: electrical, mechanical, acoustic, reliability, humidity, material properties...
• Familiarity with failure analysis is a plus.
•  Strong statistical skills, preferrably 6-sigma Green Belt or above.
•  Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•  Jig designing skill is a plus.
• V-model understanding.

4. Professional experience:

•  To equal a minimum of 2 years’ experience ( or 5+ year for Senior Level ) as a testing / quality engineer or similar, and thorough understanding of product development.
