Experience:
• Design experiments based on objective and complete experiments in technical project swiftly and with accuracy.
• Delivery of all technical tasks/R&D relevant elements of regional innovation/project by leading key technical R&D work streams (formulation and processing).
• Work closely and effectively with cross functional teams: Factory, procurement, marketing, regulatory.
• Escalate any technical issues to R&D manager when appropriate.
• Ensure ingredient compliance to meet all live internal and external policies/regulations.
• Create new prototypes for R&D initiatives, including formulation, ingredient sourcing, new technology.
• Work with the marketing team to deliver new products that meet consumer needs in a cost-effective manner and with formulations that can be processed in the existing operation.
• Work and assist Production in new product trials and initial start-up runs.
• Accurately record, analyses, and report data to meet project and customer objectives.
• Other tasks assigned by R&D assistant manager or manager.
• Bachelor/ Master Degree in Food Science, Culinary Science, Chemistry, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 - 3 years’ experience in a food processing or new product development role.
• Expected experience in developing sauce and condiments such as wet sauce, fermented sauce which is a priority along with other food products.
• Lab activity management
• Positive and self-starter attitude with a strong sense of urgency.
