Experience:
1. New Product Development
Plan and execute end-to-end R&D projects, from concept initiation to production handover.
Propose new product ideas; collaborate with Sales and Marketing to conduct market/customer research; receive and process new product development requests from relevant departments.
Research and propose new ingredients and suitable outsourcing partners; evaluate and select suppliers to ensure compliance with technical requirements and legal regulations.
Develop product formulas, define technical specifications for raw materials, semi-finished and finished products, establish physicochemical criteria, and set up production processes.
Calculate cost estimates for semi-finished and finished products for new or improved items.
Finalize production processes, identify equipment requirements, and coordinate with Marketing, Production, Engineering, and Purchasing to plan trial runs and product launches.
Train and hand over product standards to the production team.
Work with QA and Marketing to design product labels and complete product registration procedures.
2. Research & Improvement of Existing Products
Monitor product quality in the market; identify and propose improvements to ingredients, equipment, or production processes.
Stay updated on market trends and new technologies; recommend enhancements or new developments to meet customer needs.
Address quality issues by adjusting formulas, refining processes, or resolving nonconformities.
3. Alternative Ingredient Sourcing
Identify and evaluate alternative or parallel suppliers to ensure quality and optimize costs.
4. Other Duties
Stay updated on and ensure compliance with food-related legal regulations.
Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
