Handle and coordinate with QA and QC on different production lines and figure out better improvement methods
Job Duty of Quality Supervisor
QC
- Review inspection reports and data on any quality deviations, and when necessary, set up meetings with the production line to discuss corrective actions
- Work closely with the production line to address quality issues e.g., incoming quality variances, semi-finished product problems
- Upon receiving a quality issue, conduct a quality improvement meeting with the production line to identify the root cause and define corrective actions
- Prepare and distribute monthly quality performance reports
- Conduct monthly review meetings with the production line
QA
- Lead QA team members in implementing QA processes on target production lines
- When colleagues encounter issues on the production line, identify and implement appropriate corrective actions
- Review and audit QA data; in cases of high deviation, collaborate with the production line to improve QA processes
- During monthly QA review meetings, provide guidance to the production line on key problem areas and work to improve work-in-progress (WIP) quality
- Collaborate with the Engineering Team to solve production issues
Administration
- Organize team manpower and establish a weekly inspection schedule
- Process monthly administrative documents for team members
