Quality Assurance Engineer

The quality assurance team is responsible for tracking the missing, hunting down the broken, and resolving all issues to help give the best experience for all who uses our mobile applications for payments. We make sure that the solutions that Grab is offering is not only usable but more importantly, stable and reliable.

Get to know the Role: ​

As a QA Engineer, ​you will help out on problems reported by everyone and provide the best product for our customers. You see real impact to people and feel proud to be part of the team that improves the lives of others.

The day-to-day activities:

You will design, end to end concurrency and regression test suites for new projects and existing systems. Maintain complete test documentation (test plan, test cases, and issues found).

Collaborate with the project teams in the design and creation of test automation plans.

Support team members and ensures established goals and deadlines are met.

Research, design, and implement automated test procedures, review automation approach and guide other team members in their automation design.

Build creative test plans, employ useful technologies, meet deadlines, and fulfill goals and requirements.

Design, build and execute automated regression test packages using scripts, high level languages, and automation test tools for both existing systems and newly implemented projects.

The must haves:

Bachelor in Computer Science or Equivalent Degree with at least 3 years relevant working experience a QA Engineer/ Tester.

Should be able to write code

Keen eye for detail

Ability to collaborate globally and work cross-functionally with other teams

Exceptional internet research skills and knowledge of web technologies

Deep understanding of testing mobile as well browser based applications/services

Ability to construct test cases quickly and get them prioritized based on changes

Deep knowledge of test and tool development methodology

SQL knowledge is highly preferred

Having automation testing skills with an exposure to WebDriver and Selenium is a huge plus and highly encouraged
