Job requirement

CJ Foods Vietnam is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven QA/QC Supervisor with strong expertise in wheat flour development and quality control. This role plays a critical part in developing flour formulas (especially for noodle, bánh mì, and bakery applications) and ensuring consistent flour quality that meets customer and product requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate daily with flour QA/QC staff to monitor and manage product quality.

  • Take the lead in developing and adjusting wheat flour and semi-wheat flour recipes based on customer or sales team requests — average of ~10 product types per month.

  • Analyze customer product characteristics (e.g., noodle texture, bread volume) and adjust flour formulation accordingly.

  • Receive and interpret lab analysis data (conducted by technicians) to refine mixing formulas for semi-finished flour products.

  • Monitor quality variations caused by changes in raw wheat quality and respond with timely formulation adjustments.

  • Ensure consistent control of critical quality attributes, particularly protein content and final product texture.

  • Maintain technical documentation and communicate effectively with internal teams (e.g., Sales, R&D, QA).

  • Stay aligned with company standards and customer expectations — although formal certifications like ISO/HACCP are not strictly required for this role.

Job requirement

1. Educational Background

  •   Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field.

2. Expertise Skills & Experience

  • At least 06 years of experience in wheat flour quality control and flour recipe development.
  • Strong understanding of flour quality characteristics, particularly for noodle and bakery applications.
  • Ability to interpret lab results and adjust flour formulas accordingly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate across QA, sales, and technical teams.
