As an Automation Engineer, you will help out on problems reported by everyone and provide the best product for our customers. You see real impact to people and feel proud to be part of the team that improves the lives of others.
The day-to-day activities:
- Provide functional and regression level testing for iOS, Android, API, and Web Applications.
- Execute manual and automated functional and regression test cases as well as develop and maintain automated Test Scripts.
- Work closely with developers, product owners, test leads, engineers, and team members to identify areas and methods to help drive testing efficiencies and expand test coverage and increase product reliability.
- Provide test estimates, record, track and report defects to depict the status of the sprint and/or system stability.
The must haves:
- 4+ years experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer.
- Possess a deep understanding of SQA methodologies and practices.
- Develops Gherkin Syntax to build out user scenario.
- Develops go/ Ruby / Javascripts/ Java Methods to automate Gherkin Syntax identified
- Hands-on experience with Behavior Driven Frameworks (BDD), Selenium cucumber, Jbehave Serenity
- Hands-on experience with Postman or SoapUI
- Maintains Page Object Model Framework for all products supported
- Continuously refactors Methods and Page Object Models to drive further testing efficiencies.
- Identifies and manages all test data required for testing
- Hands-on experience with testing Mobile apps, Web applications, APIs and UIs.
- Experience with CI/CD a plus
- Should be familiar with Agile/Scrum
- Experience with test frameworks: Selenium, REST- Assured, JUnit, and TestNG
- Hands on SQL experience
