JOB DUTIES:
§ Report to Manager
§ Job Responsibilities:
1. Plan, forecast, evaluate, negotiate, monitor
- Plan, estimates cost, and schedules for integrating these needs into existing purchasing activities.
- Coordinate with R&D, engineering, quality control and production about technical and specification of goods or material available on market and general
- Evaluate and select suppliers.
- Negotiate terms for major purchases within established limits of authority.
- Develop policies, checklists, and other materials that describe the organization’s technical, quality, service, or reliability standards to help purchasing staff evaluate supplier proposals.
- Analyze and evaluate the organization’s overall purchasing trends to potential bulk purchases. Analyze and evaluate external price trends and new product offerings to reduce overall purchasing costs.
- Select and manage relationships with major suppliers, vendors, or sub-contractors to ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.
- Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of purchasing staff to ensure the team’s resources are used effectively and work schedules and targets are met.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
§ Desirable Background & Experience:
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical; Business Administration; Economics or related field (Foreign Trade, National Economic, Commercial, Banking Academy)
- More than 5 years of relevant experience in foreign manufacturing factories.
- Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management, various procurement /purchasing processes and tools.
- Knowledge of supply chain management is a strong plus.
- Ability to work independently
- English: Business level (Written and Verbal)
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Strong leadership skills; Solid judgement along with decision making skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Offices
- Planning, organizing and analytical skills
- Knowledge in SAP is a plus
