Report to: Supply Chain Director
• Responsible for raw material purchasing and ensure raw material is delivered in warehouse to ensure production process runs smoothly. • Manage purchase orders and contracts, develop and implement purchasing & contract management procedures and policies. • Identify material & equipment vendors , suppliers and negotiate with them for best prices, terms of sales & policies. • Seek for present and future material availability by collecting and analyzing market; prepare reports on merchandise costs and market conditions. • Work closely with suppliers & other third parties to ensure transportation of all shipment is safe and timely. • Control & follow up return material claims and credit note, arrange shipment & compensation shipment with suppliers. • Coordinate with warehouse to check shipments and monthly counting. • Coordinate with finance dept. in solving payment related problems. • Control budgets within purchasing department. • Lead purchasing team effectively, give appropriate job allocation, provide subordinates with motivation, performance evaluation and trainings. • Ensure the team achieve Logistics targets. • Recruit staff for the team. • Ensure purchasing activities are in line with company’s business system.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant majors • At least 5-year experience in purchasing • Experience in international manufacturing company in electronics • Experience in managing a purchasing team of at least 10 members • Experience in Contract Management and Supplier Management • Ability in forecasting and scheduling based on inventory status • Good at Microsoft Office • Very strong at AXAPTA or SAP • Fluent in English • Communication skills and Negotiation skills • Leadership skill, influencing skill • Motivation skill
