Experience:
· Acting as technical focal point for climate and disaster risk financing;
· Advising the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, and provincial authorities on the improvement of the regulatory basis for climate and disaster – resilient protection of critical infrastructures and the selection and application of financial instruments to hedge climate and disaster risks;
· Ensuring close and effective cooperation and communication with relevant partners and stakeholders at national and provincial level during the implementation of the activities;
· Cooperating and advising in a multidisciplinary team colleague working on climate and disaster risk management and financing;
· Responsible for providing inputs to PR/communication, knowledge management and M&E;
· Ensuring that the activities are implemented in compliance with GIZ rules and regulations.
Minimum requirements:
· Ability to travel frequently if required.

• Bachelor’s degree in textile and/or clothing technology, digital transformation, computer science, or equivalent with at least 5 years working in the field of textile
• Experience in developing digital transformation roadmaps for textile enterprises
• Experience in implementing technologies for textile businesses in Vietnam, such as designing and implementing digital transformation projects (e.g. IT solutions, Automation, IoT, SCADA, etc.)
• Experience in linking business outcomes (reduced costs, efficiency gains) with climate goals (climate-neutrality, reducing energy and resource usage via data management)
• Experience in conducting energy audits and environmental impact assessments for manufacturing companies
• Experience in setting up, maintaining and monitoring carbon accounting systems and systems to monitor resource systems (such as energy, waste management systems, etc.)
• Experience in communications and employee engagement linked to the adoption of textile technology solutions
• Experience in developing strategies, setting up and executing transformation initiatives in textile SMEs
• Knowledge on current local and regional developments in the fields of technologies, solutions, as well as cost-benefit analysis for textile SMEs
• Experience managing external IT vendors
• Good knowledge of the digital transformation landscape in Vietnam
• Experience working with international donors is a plus
• Managerial and organisational competence
• Willingness to travel (abroad and domestically) regularly
• Very good knowledge of Vietnamese and English, German is a plus
• Willingness to upskill as required by the tasks to be performed – corresponding measures are agreed with management
