Production Line Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

• Control and be responsible for the operations of the Huhtamaki (Vietnam) Finishing Department (Bag Making & Sorting, Slitting & Packing, Rewinding) to achieve planned product level and consistently good quality at optimum cost.
• Ensure production and capital works are planned, developed and implemented on time and within budget.
• To execute all activities on the production line toward “safely producing the high quality products and complying with legal requirements”

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develops, implements and drives action plans to achieve stated departmental business and personal objectives.
• Ensures performance meets product quality requirements.
• Identifies specific opportunities for product quality improvement.
• Liaisons with inter departmental manager for the implementation of quality improvement projects.
• Ensures: The efficient and safe operation of production facilities, and A hygienic and orderly work environment is maintained
• To plan and control the expenses of activities, materials ( Raw & Non-Raw) Machines, and Manpower to meet the agreed budget.
• Leads staff to achieve productivity, quality and service objectives as delineated in agreements.
• Implements team portion of annual human resources (HR) plan.
• Ensures that factory organization culture and employee relations are supportive of long-term business strategies by effective, open two-way communication and feedback regarding business issues.

Qualification:  BA
