Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales & Product Specialist to drive business growth and manage product portfolios in the Life Sciences sector. This role combines sales responsibilities with product management for leading brands in biotechnology, covering product lines in molecular biology, NGS, DNA/RNA extraction, ELISA, and general laboratory consumables and instruments.
The ideal candidate has strong scientific knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a customer-oriented mindset, with the ability to work effectively with global suppliers and the local commercial team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Management (Life Sciences Portfolio)
- Serve as the main contact point with international suppliers for meetings, product updates, and strategic planning.
- Present product pipelines, local market insights, and business development plans to suppliers.
- Coordinate product launch activities, marketing initiatives, and training for the sales team and customers.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and supply conditions directly with suppliers.
- Track and follow up on purchase orders from suppliers to ensure timely delivery to Vietnam.
- Support the sales team with technical documents, quotations, configuration building, and product specifications.
- Provide product training and technical presentations to customers when required.
2. Sales Development & Customer Management
- Identify and develop new customer accounts in the life science market (research labs, hospitals, biotech companies, universities, etc.).
- Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to protect and expand market share.
- Manage the sales pipeline: track opportunities, forecast revenue, and convert leads into successful deals.
- Consult customers on product selection, technical solutions, and workflow optimization.
- Coordinate with internal departments (logistics, application support, QA, service teams) to resolve issues related to orders, product concerns, and quality claims.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Monitor competitor activities, retrieve lost market share, and enhance customer loyalty.
