Get to know the Role:
The IoT product manager will be responsible for engaging with partners to define the technical end-to-end solution for IoT use cases and build go-to-market plans to grow GrabCycle’s IoT products. You will work on exciting SW+HW solutions that bring intelligent transportation vehicles and devices on the road, and have a significant impact in future of personal mobility.
The day-to-day activities:
As a Product Manager for IoT, you will be responsible for:
Prototype new IoT solutions for our customers and partners
Being the subject matter expert on IoT products as well as discrete ad features, function and implementation.
Working with business stakeholders to define revenue/business objectives and ensure that product initiatives and features are linked to these objectives.
Developing new product business cases, market and competitive analysis, product requirements documentation, and high-level release and go-to-market plans.
Leveraging market intelligence, competitive analysis, customer research, and stakeholder feedback to prioritize and translate asks into actionable requirements that achieve customer and business goals.
Working closely with engineers to identify critical paths, and to prioritize requirements for execution.
The must haves:
Must have at least 5+ years of Product Management experience
Industrial Networking/IoT experience will be a plus.
Verticals Solutions Experiences in transportation solutions
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; strong bias towards data-based decision making
Technical fluency; ability to understand and discuss architectural concepts, schedule tradeoffs and new opportunities with technical team members
Proven ability to understand complex business problems, apply strong analytical skill and create an effective strategy
Ability to operate in an entrepreneurial environment, to thrive at an extremely fast pace and find creative ways to get things done
Experience building and launching new product and services and leading go-to-markets
Communication skills for technical, business, and external stakeholders
Record of setting organizational priorities and stakeholder alignment in a dynamic workplace
Excellent customer experience intuition; demonstrated success in creating innovative and user-friendly software applications and customer-facing features
Nimbleness and comfort with ambiguity; ability to respond rapidly to evolving threats and opportunities
Demonstrated ability to translate strategic differentiators into innovative and detailed product requirements
Proven ability to make smart features (customer experience) versus time-to-market trade-offs; experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions and assertions of business value
Focused on building businesses, not features. Entrepreneurial experience building and leading businesses, including ownership and optimization of business performance metrics
