Product Managers at Grab are at the intersection of Engineering, Design and Business. They have to be technical enough to understand how our products work whilst also possessing a keen eye for design and solid business acumen.
Product Managers are master communicators and project managers who bring teams together and drive them towards the singular goal of making all of Grab’s products successful.
This role requires a healthy dose of creativity as well as analytical thinking to define a vision for both new and existing products from initial conceptualisation all the way to iterating based on post-launch performance feedback.
The day-to-day activities:
Collaborate closely with Design, Engineering, User Research and Data teams to shape a customer-focused product vision & strategy, supported by internal and external analysis.
Define and maintain creative, high quality, product roadmaps and specifications.
Secure stakeholder buy-in for the product vision and roadmap.
Manage prioritization and trade-offs between customer experience and business objectives.
Coordinate the activities of cross-functional teams to design, develop and deliver products to market on time.
Identify, assess, track and resolve issues and risks at multiple levels; including both technical risks and associated business risks.
The must-haves:
Minimum 3+ years of product management experience at a software company.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
Demonstrated success in delivering great consumer products at scale.
Comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and able to think big while paying careful attention to detail.
Proven analytical thinking, leadership, problem solving, and project management skills.
Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior level executives
