Get to know the Role:

• Evaluates suppliers based on cost, quality, service, availability, reliability, and selection variety.

• Required to liaise, closely monitor and follow up with all purchasing activities including delivery schedules, to meet the required date.

• Conducts product pricing analysis from time to time and actively participate in pricing negotiations with vendors.

• Handles and manages the Procurement process with professionalism.

The day-to-day activities:

• Handle and manage in the Procurement process with professionalism.

• Evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, service, availability, reliability, and selection variety.

• Liaise, closely monitor and follow up with all purchasing activities and ensure vendors adhere to procurement timelines

• Generates PO, follow up payments status with finance and payment issues.

• Other ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time.

• Negotiation with vendor

• Seeking new vendor & maintain existing vendor

• Manages Service Level Agreements with suppliers

The must haves:

• Minimum bachelor degree

• Minimum 1-3 years relevant experience in Procurement;

• Proficient in MS. Office especially Ms. Excel. Knowledge in Oracle system is a plus point

• Able to work in fast pace environment, self motivated and display good team spirit;

• Excellent oral and written communication

• Able to work under pressure with a tight deadline
