Get to know the Role:
Reporting to the Regional Head of Procurement, the Procurement Analyst drives and executes procurement framework and strategy to achieve overall improved profit margins via enabling- and realizing cost savings, service level improvements, risk reductions and improved supplier governance.
The day-to-day activities:
- Monitor Spend Analytics for key categories
- Create Procurement Dashboards, Supplier scorecards to track KPIs and performance
- Performance management of Vendors
- Coordinate and provide guidance to Country Procurement Managers in accordance to procurement policy and framework
- Report procurement benefits (realized savings, service level improvements, etc.) and make sure these are realized through measurement and follow-up with area procurement managers and finance
- Ensure that our suppliers are compliant with our code of conduct and terms and conditions
- Develop cost models, identify saving opportunities/TCO improvements and implement appropriate measures in coordination with selected suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Ensure that all category relevant information is well documented.
- Actively collaborate with suppliers and purchaser on specific category demand and supply balance
The must haves:
- 0 - 3 years of procurement experience
- A degree in business studies or equivalent. Professional procurement qualification such as CPIM, CPSM and CIPS will be an advantage.
- Experience from full range of strategic procurement activities involving: Planning, sourcing, supplier / contract / risk management / etc.
- Knowledge/experience in strategic as well as operational procurement areas
- Experience with global supply, supplier and stakeholder landscape
- Supplier management & supplier negotiations experience will be an advantage
- Understanding of category management
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision/self starter
- Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced competency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Willingness to travel 10% of work time
