Job requirement

Lead and execute process technology development and scale-up activities for the Convenient Foods category (Noodles). This role bridges R&D formulation, project deployment, and factory operations to ensure robust technology transfer, product industrialization, and continuous process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Propose suitable processing technologies aligned with product innovation.
  2. Develop process block diagrams and preliminary manufacturing flows.
  3. Design P&IDs and detailed process schematics.
  4. Consolidate technical specifications for equipment and systems.
  5. Conduct basic capacity calculations and zoning layout proposals.
  6. Support pilot trials and contribute to product matching and formulation alignment.
  7. Provide technical guidance during plant commissioning and production startup.
  8. Generate final documentation packages for project handover.
  9. Identify process risks and drive preventive/corrective actions.
  10. Lead and coach the Process Engineering team for performance and development.

Additional Duties:

  • Participate in product ideation and feasibility studies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful product launches.
  • Carry out assignments as directed by leadership.

Decision Rights & Authority

  • Recommend and validate process parameters and designs for Noodles.
  • Ensure departmental and cross-functional compliance to technical procedures and best practices.
  • Lead investigations and improvement efforts for process-related challenges.
  • Coach, delegate tasks, and manage team development and performance assessments.

Job requirement

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, with specialization in Process Engineering or Equipment Design.

Experience:

  • At least 3 years in a Process Engineering leadership role within the food/FMCG sector (minimum VND 1,000 billion/year turnover).
  • Experience with multinational companies is a strong advantage.

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge in thermal processing, microbiological inactivation, mixing and separation technologies
  • Expertise in sanitary equipment design and CIP systems
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks
  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and manufacturing flow diagrams
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
