Get to know our Team:

Get to know the Role:

• Responsible for building the Grab brand through effective brand and promotional campaigns that persuade, excite and build brand loyalty amongst users.
• You will get a chance to work directly with progressive thinkers from the marketing department to help shape the brand together as a team.
• You will also get access and support from the Regional Creative Team who consists of experienced and awarded creatives from multinational agency backgrounds.

The day-to-day activities:

Copy writer:

• Apply the Grab brand voice across a variety of media platforms appropriately on local level

• Hone the craft of copywriting in brand building on local level

• Learn to deliver brand narratives in a fast-paced environment to deliver solid user experiences

• Report directly to Country Marketing Head

• Works well with all team members both on a local and regional level

Public Relation:​

• Manage the PR agency according to budget and business requirements

• Proactively promote stories and other publicity opportunities that are advantageous to Grab

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with the most influential regional and local media

• Create content such as press releases, thought leadership articles, messaging, executive media briefings and speeches for executives

• Field and prioritize requests and media engagements

• Organize and oversee media events

• Effectively manage the response to incidents, issues or crisis situations, and manage program to mitigate negative impacts of incidents affecting Grab

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with Grab business stakeholders and management

• Drive regular planning and reporting meetings with key stakeholders

• Manage speaking opportunities for executives

KOL Management:

• Creating KOLs list and creating the contracts for all KOLs in both languages

• Managing all the KOLs and ensure the quality of the Content that KOLs are going to publish

• In charge of scheduling/following up all the KOLs on posting the assets

• Report the performance of each KOLs - engagement

• Coordinate/pass information or assets between Grab and KOL


The must haves:

• Candidate must posses at least a diploma, Advertising/Media, Journalism, Mass communications or equivalent.

• Well-rounded background in content creation and advertising
• Conceptual skills - Ability to craft, present and sell concept.
• Excellent command and highly proficient in written & oral Local Language.
• Good command of spoken English is a plus
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial and collaborative
• An amazing portfolio of effective brand building work and awards
• Understanding of technology and how to translate this easily into something beneficial for consumers
• Digital creative experience a plus
