Job Overview
The Policy and Strategy Manager will be in charge of assisting Deputy Head of ID Public Affairs in analyzing various public policies that are relevant for Grab businesses, including spearheading series of lobbying activities to key Government officials. In addition, The Manager will also help the overall PA team in keeping track of PA initiatives/projects at national level.
Responsibilities and Duties
Analyze public policies with relevance to various Grab’s verticals to provide internal recommendation to advocate for favorable clause for Grab business or to mitigate risks associated with any of Grab verticals;
Create and update a comprehensive stakeholder mapping of relevant Government entities to strategically propose suitable partnership with selected entities;
Build and maintain relationships with key central Government stakeholders, including but not limited to Ministers, DGs, and working levels;
Collaborate with other functions and verticals in within Grab for cross-department initiatives;
Collaborate with the overall PA Team for corporate objectives alignment, trouble-shooting, and communications purposes.
Qualifications and Skills
Extensive national network with high-level and working level of Government entities, authorities, and other crucial stakeholders related with Grab businesses;
Ability to build new relations and manage existing relations with Government officials;
Ability to take initiative and work independently;
Good social and communications presence;
Ability to perform well under pressure and tight deadlines;
Previous experience working with Government or Government projects is an advantage.
