Plumbing & Firefighting Engineer

• Execute tasks assigned by the MEP Director/Manager/Team Leader within the required timeframe.
• Prepare concept, basic, and detailed design drawings in AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP, ensuring compliance with local codes and international standards.
• Conduct necessary design calculations and analysis, select appropriate equipment sizes, and create schematic diagrams.
• Collaborate with project architects, other engineering disciplines, sub-consultants, and clients.
• Undertake site visits and quality assurance checks on drawings and calculations.
• Assist in producing design specifications, reports, and finalizing design calculations.
• Review shop drawings and material submissions.
• Follow company design procedures and standards.
• Liaise with contractors and perform site inspections.
• Propose technical innovations to improve design.
• Assist in preparing equipment/material quantity take-off and cost estimates.
• Prepare technical schedules for equipment and materials.

• Degree in Water supply and drainage (relevant practice license is a plus).
• 3-5 years of post-graduate experience.
• Advanced knowledge of MEP design software (AutoCAD, Revit) and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, Access).
• Experience in an engineering consulting environment, focusing on design.
• Intermediate time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage billable hours efficiently and accurately.
• Experience in design teams and author’s supervision duties.
• Site inspection or supervision experience on building construction projects.
• Knowledge of International Building Codes and Design Standards, including LEED.
• Proficient in English.
