Job requirement

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute raw material ordering plans while closely monitoring implementation.
  • Determine and establish optimal inventory levels based on forecasts, demand fluctuations, and material lead times.
  • Coordinate material flows during product/BOM changes, obsolescence management, and the introduction of new suppliers or materials related to new product development.
  • Ensure full compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements and procedures within the section.
  • Manage forecasting to achieve an optimal balance between inventory levels and service levels.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all internal communications, including commercial matters and company strategy.
  • Lead monthly S report meetings (raw material ordering program), issue POs to suppliers/intercompany, and conduct mid-month report reviews.
  • Update and review forecasts in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly SLOB (Slow-moving and Obsolete) reports.
  • Closely follow up with suppliers/intercompany from order placement through to receipt of goods.
  • Coordinate with shipping agents, freight forwarders, and customs brokers for declarations.
  • Communicate requirements and share information effectively with team members.
  • Provide backup support for supply chain functions, including shipping, receiving, material handling, and other assigned duties.
  • Set up and maintain material master planning parameters (MOQ, lead time, safety stock, etc.).
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and deliver a high level of customer service, including recommending solutions, resources, and alternative supply options.
  • Ensure and promote adherence to Company and Procurement policies and procedures.

Job requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Business Administration.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Planning and Procurement, preferably in an international company.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English across all four skills (reading, writing, listening, speaking).
  • Proficient in Excel; experience with SAP is an advantage.
