Get to know the Role:
You'll be a champion of Grab's culture and values, partnering with our business leaders to help them build their organizations and make sure intellectual rigour is applied on all people decisions.
Whether coaching our leaders on how to lead their teams, navigating and resolving employee relations issues or managing programs that help develop our Grabbers, you are exceptionally focused on putting them first, and being as clear and transparent as possible to help Grabbers understand how people decisions get made.
The day-to-day activities:
Advisor and Change Agent Serve as an advisor to management on people-related matters
Assess and anticipate people-related needs
People Development and Deployment Collaborate with business on people-related initiatives to develop a people-oriented culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, team-work and high performance
Develop and communicate People metrics that demonstrate added value and identify where changes in practices and policies are required
Culture and Engagement
Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity Identify key drivers, plan and execute impactful actions to systematically strengthen culture and organization performance
Plan and execute company event and engagement activities
Talent Management and Retention Implement relevant retention strategies Identify learning and development needs for business units and individual coaching needs Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success.
Follow up to ensure training objectives are met
Performance Management
Drive the Performance Management reviews
Drive, provide guidance, advice and training to managers on managing performance issues at all level
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and team effectively at all levels
Coaching people across all areas in order to increase morale, accountability and clearer expectations
Able to get the basics right quickly to earn credibility with stakeholders
Proactive and do not wait for problems to resolve themselves which saves business units valuable time and risk
Role model what is expected to support a more cohesive work and team environment
Able to thrive in a VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous) environment
Self motivated, self confident, stress resistant
Good English communication skills
A comprehensive and proven HR business partner experience in fast paced, collaborative working environment
At least 5 years of experience IT savvy, data driven Minimum Bachelor Degree
