Get to know our Team:

As the lead for People Analytics, you will be part of our People Strategy and Ops Excellence Team. The team strives to revolutionize human resources the same way that Grab has revolutionized transportation. Here is what we do:

Get to know the Role & scope:

  • Define and implement the People Analytics growth strategy.
  • Lead, develop and scale the People Analytics team and its capabilities in data analysis, data science.

  • Work closely with the Head of People Strategy to continuously develop our people metrics and scorecard to measure efficiency and effectiveness of our various People functions and services.

  • Partner with People Operations Heads, founders, and other top-line executives to provide advisory and deliver ad-hoc insights requests on people matters.

  • Develop frameworks to analyze business problems, develop hypotheses, mine data, deliver recommendations, and assess impact of proposed solutions.

  • Lead the end-to-end information management processes from understanding the requirements of various stakeholders to the provisioning of data and insights.

  • Work closely with our IT-, data- and engineering teams to build and maintain a data lake, design data streams and data models leading to state of the art people analytics products.

  • Partner closely with our data privacy, compliance, legal and information security leads to develop frameworks and policies for people related data to comply with local laws and regulations.

  • Responsible for design and implementation of on-demand analytics services such as HR functional dashboards.

  • Leading the transition to a self-service organization by identifying opportunities for automation and implementing self-service technologies.

  • Support business case development and projects, identification of key value drivers and metrics, and capture ROI.



The must haves:

  • Min of 8 years experience in HR/People Analytics

  • Min of 4 years experience in leading and scaling teams of data analysts and data scientists - preferably in a startup or tech company

  • Understanding and implementation experience of predictive modeling algorithms such as logistic regression, neural networks, forward propagation, decision trees and heuristic models.

  • Experience in RDBMS such as PostgresQL or MySQL; and statistical programming in languages like R, Python, Java, C++ or SAS and/or other tools for statistical analysis.

  • Strong data visualisation skills using tools like Tableau.

  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, lead and facilitate conversations between Analytics-, Technology- and People Operations teams.

  • Passionate about solving problems, relentless need for investigation and data exploration.

  • Results and detail-oriented, with strong intuitions on how to solve problems creatively and quickly.

  • Efficient time manager in a dynamic and fast-paced working environment

  • Empathy, heart and passion for developing our People Analytics team

  • High degree of resiliency

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity

  • Strong Stakeholder Management skills
