Get to know the Role:

  • Responsible for top-line/revenue related activities of the rentals business.
  • Develop & execute pricing strategies that effectively optimizes driver & fleet value.
  • Identify, develop and operationalise commercially viable opportunities/partnerships in support of the business.
  • Analyse data to quickly understand partnership & project value

The day-to-day activities:

  • The Commercial Partnerships Manager is responsible for the constant growth of the business while tackling challenges and shifting trends.
  • Applicants must demonstrate exemplary project & contract management, negotiation, market research, partnership structuring skills to optimize synergies in both pricing & partnerships
  • Specifically, the role will oversee partnership & business development efforts of the business by using analytics and insights gathered from data and relationship management opportunities.
  • This role requires a good balance of interpersonal and analytical skills to derive deeper understanding of partnerships & projects from scenario modelling & value propositions.
  • The Partnerships Manager is a people-person skilled at strategy, planning & execution with keen business sense.
  • Drive the data insights by working with the Insights team to build a framework to derive understanding of the industry, market trends and use that information effectively.
  • Oversee and groom cross functional project teams for partnership success.
  • Manage relationship with the data insights, ops, supply & commercial teams.

The must haves:

  • Degree Holder & above (preferably MBA)
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • At least 10 years’ experience in a similar commercial role
  • Proficiency in MS Office, analytics/database-related software/skills
  • One who is willing to be hands-on as needed and proactively assume responsibilities for one’s actions.
  • Ability to work independently and deal effectively with complex, changing, and ambiguous environments.
  • Able to initiate and maintain strong relationships with partners.
