Get to know the role:

We’re looking for an energetic, proactive and empathetic partnerships lead with a strong marketing focus to drive a range of exciting partner marketing programs across Southeast Asia. You’ll be tasked with driving marketing and brand growth through partnerships with all kinds of categories of partners in the travel, entertainment, retail, e-commerce and financial spaces. You’ll need to be equal parts creative and analytical, able to create fantastic ways for brands to partner to deliver great consumer experiences as well as able to analyse the marketing value and business performance generated by the partnership.

Get to know the team:

Regional Partner Marketing team's scope includes:

  • Support existing Strategic partners and identify opportunities to form strategic marketing partnerships and alliances that help Grab (and the Partner) to achieve their goals
  • Working with some of the most exciting brands: (past / current examples include Warner Music, Tinder, Singapore Airlines, Google, Magnum, Disney / Star Wars)
  • Orchestrating Marketing activations for 130 million riders (and growing!) in SEA
  • Creating impact and supporting brand love by developing activations that change how users perceive Grab

The day-to-day activities:

  • Create and execute regional partner strategy that enables Grab to increase brand love and drive marketing performance metrics
  • Lead a team, set direction and coordinate partner marketing projects across the organisation
  • Work with Grab’s leadership and business development team to close partnership deals, being fully responsible for the marketing components of the deal
  • Align closely with country and regional marketing teams to ensure that the partnerships are both helping drive towards their overall marketing goals and delivering value for partners
  • Put together partner marketing campaign plans with quantitative estimates for partner value delivered and projected marketing KPIs achieved
  • Create partner decks and collateral to pitch to partner and marketing teams
  • Work with country and regional marketing teams to execute on the marketing plans, supervise project management of the campaigns execution. Work closely with brand, product marketing and PR teams across these campaigns
  • Manage the partner approval process for all marketing assets
  • Present campaign tracking reports both internally and externally
  • Manage and guide partner marketing managers across our eight ASEAN markets, building playbooks, pitch decks and best practice guides for them to develop through
  • Drive considerable value for our passengers and drivers through key partnerships with the brands they need and love
  • Work with consumer research and analytics teams to identify which partnerships are driving positive experiences for our customers
  • Handle partner negotiation, budget management and partner contracts

The must haves:

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications or Business
  • 7-10 years’ experience collectively in partnerships, marketing, advertising sales, advertising agency and/or consulting roles
  • Experience across the ASEAN region with a deep understanding of the media, retail, entertainment and/or tech landscape
  • Pro-active go-getter who drives teams forward and can get people excited about their project
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English. Additional ASEAN language skills are a plus
  • You are a charismatic presenter who can sell marketing ideas as the solution to business problems
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills that are the envy of all your colleagues
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering strategy, large scale consumer marketing campaigns
