Job requirement

Reporting to Assistant Director, Table Games Operations and will be responsible for managing assigned area on the gaming floor. Manage and organize casino pit employees, shift operation and relationship marketing to assigned gaming floor area. Ensure compliance with all gaming and company regulations and procedures. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and company policies, practices, and procedures.

Duties may include but not limited to:

  • Monitor gaming area allocated and ensure Table Games activities for adherence to casino policies and casino rules and regulations.
  • Ensure that Pit employees comply with the rules, regulations, and directives of the internal control and procedures.
  • Coordinate decision/instructions in the event of a property emergency, including fire, power outage, bomb threat, elevator malfunctions, etc.
  • Understand and differentiate the value of customers.
  • Listen to and communicate with a variety of customers and employees
  • Motivate customers to visit more and spend more.
  • Provide excellent service to customers, respond promptly and courteously to customer requests.
  • Monitor the volume and quality of the business and adjust game spread and table limits as appropriate.
  • Train, counsel and coach assigned employees in the performance of their duties.
  • Prepare and present Performance Appraisal Reviews.
  • Recommend and approve disciplinary action to employees.
  • Use judgment to make complimentary decisions based on play record within the guidelines set by the company.
  • Use complimentary and amenities to properly reward players and build loyalty.
  • Participate daily in the operation to ensure that staffing levels are adequate, quality of service is provided & the problem areas are identified and corrective action taken.
  • Review and analyze departmental staffing need and make recommendations for adjusting working schedules of team members to promote effective labor cost control while providing quality products and service.
  • Work closely with Food and Beverage Team (Culinary Team, Butlers, Cocktail Services, etc.) to make sure adequate service is provided.
  • Interact with Surveillance Department, advising them immediately of any possible problem areas.
  • Inform Pit Managers, Supervisors, Dealer Inspectors, Dealers & other team members of changes or amendments in Company Policies or Procedures and ensure compliance.
  • Ensure discipline is administered in consistent & fair manner.
  • Maintain a positive rapport and interaction with other departments.
  • Understand the parameters and boundaries of position, exercising good judgment, referring situations to the Assistant Director of Table Games Operations.
  • Focus on employees’ survey to make sure all current staff needs are addressed.
  • Ensure that consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
  • Protect and preserve the assets of the company.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental or company matters.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
