The day-to-day activities:
- Own and implement projects around the company’s key initiatives from start to end to succeed key business performances.
- Be able to effectively bridge the high-level regional strategy and local execution components.
- Continuously observe and understand market trend and design strategies accordingly.
- Work across teams and lead team to implement strategies effectively and efficiently.
- Build productive and positive relationships across the organization at all levels to drive influence.
- Diagnose complex problems and develop compelling, data driven recommendations.
- Manage initial phase set up and ensure successful launch of Grab services in Cambodia.
- Explore new markets and business models through industry trends, historical trends, forward looking forecasts, competitive assessment, etc. and build/evaluate recommendations for strategic growth and monetization.
- Plan and manage budget including annual, quarterly and monthly expense tracking.
The must haves:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree from top-tier institutions with a strong academic record
- Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative analysis tools and techniques (e.g. econometrics, A/B testing)
- Strong in data analytics
- Excellent English proficiency
- 3-5 years of experience in a role that requires rigorous financial and business analytics or strategic thought (e.g. Management Consulting).
- Management Consulting in tech / start up companies will be a significant advantage
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Willing to travel in various provinces and within SEA region
- Passionate about social mission and making a positive impact in emerging markets
