The Operation Executive in the Container Team is responsible for coordinating the end-to-end logistics process for container shipments. This includes managing documentation, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring that shipments are executed according to plan in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner. The role supports seamless cargo flow from origin to destination in line with customer requirements and company service standards.
- Follow up with Sales/CS/Planning teams to update PO information (expected shipment schedule, booking status, container type/size, payment terms, special requirements)
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and warehouse teams to ensure timely stuffing, customs clearance, and dispatch of containers
- Request and manage services from third parties including inspection companies, shipping agencies, trucking companies, and customs brokers
- Monitor and follow up on payments with relevant parties, including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Handle inquiries from customers and support with ad hoc logistics-related issues
- Collaborate with the Legal team to prepare service contracts and ensure the proper implementation of terms and conditions
- Prepare and update regular reports on shipment status, logistics performance, and operational issues as required by management or other departments
- Contribute to the standardization of internal documents and procedures (e.g. SOPs, shipping checklists, templates, and training materials)
