Operations Associate, GrabFood Surabaya

Get to know the role:

Support the GrabFood City GM and Marketplace team in driving key operations initiatives for GrabFood to grow in Surabaya. You will focus on initiatives to optimise the GrabFood product from driving efficiency to unlocking potential growth.

The day-to-day activities:

• Using data to identify operational pain points, assessing root causes and proposing solutions that will lead to improvement in business metrics

• Support the GrabFood team through process improvement, and logistics on city and sub-region projects with a focus on Merchants, Drivers and Eaters

• Be the operational glue that holds together major team efforts for large events, and key city projects

• Work closely with the merchant operations, marketplace, and Account Management teams to streamline processes

• Manage a team of contractors to execute hyper-local projects across the city

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree

• Advanced written and spoken English

• Strong organisational skills - thrives in organizing and planning and loves project management

• Keen attention to detail

• Good communication skills to be able to interact with internal and external stakeholders

• Data driven- ability to manipulate and use data to address customer pain points and improve the user experience
