Grab’s lending business (GFSA – Grab Financial Services Asia) is a recent addition to Grab’s array of product and service offerings focused on extension of Micro credits to drivers, agents and merchants in Grab’s ecosystem. GFSA team is a combination of strong talent pool in its Regional Hub (Singapore) and deep local market operators across its focus markets. We are incredibly excited about the opportunity ahead of us. We are looking to put together the best possible combination of business build drive, industry expertise and local market depth as part of our team. GFSA team is responsible for end to end conceptualization, design, development, execution and ongoing management of all lending activities in its focus markets and segments.

Get to know the Role:

1. Develop MSME Lending product marketing and sales strategy - general approach as well as program specific sales strategy

2. Operationalize and execute on agreed sales strategy by working with channel partners within and outside Grab ecosystem

3. Develop marketing material working with Grab's marketing communication team

4. Monitor, manage and report MSME sales funnel performance on a daily basis

5. Provide structured feedback to product team on client (prospective borrower) engagement and related issues

6. Build, manage and mentor a high performance MSME sales team in Vietnam

7. Operate as in house MSME sales expert providing advisory to other in market teams

8. Institutionalize learnings from MSME marketing and sales pilots and programs

The must haves:

•More than 5 years of experience across financial services  and other business leadership roles within financial services

• Significant experience and senior professional network (small & medium business/ merchant)

• Strong track record of delivery of tangible business results across previous roles

• Experience in high performance team build out, development and management

• Breadth of functional experience across – strategy development, strategic project management, cross-functional operational implementation of new initiatives and ongoing business management

• Intelligent, motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and work ethic.

• High levels of adaptability, comfortable with ambiguity and working in a VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex; Ambiguous) environment

• Solid spoken and written communication skills, both English & Vietnamese.
