Job requirement

Job Purpose:

  • The Media Policy & Platform Specialist focuses on researching TikTok advertising policies, analyzing platform features, and providing compliance and product support to the Sales and AE teams. This role also helps build the company’s internal knowledge system and prepares the foundation for future multi-platform expansion.

Key Responsibilities

1. TikTok Policy Research

  • Research TikTok advertising policies, review logic, industry restrictions, and enforcement trends.
  • Build and maintain the internal TikTok policy knowledge base and compliance guidelines.
  • Monitor policy updates and provide timely alerts to minimize account risks.
  • Conduct internal training sessions on TikTok policy and compliance understanding.

2. Data Insight & Compliance Analysis (Key Focus)

  • Analyze ad account suspension patterns, violation behaviors, and root causes.
  • Build and maintain data dashboards or reports to monitor account health and policy trends.
  • Deliver data-driven insights to improve compliance and reduce appeal failures.
  • Produce monthly or quarterly internal insight reports.

3. Internal Knowledge System Development

  • Create and update SOPs for policy explanation, account risk handling, and appeal procedures.
  • Maintain documentation related to TikTok product updates, platform changes, and case studies.
  • Support internal training to strengthen the company’s TikTok media expertise.

4. Cross-team Collaboration & Media Communication

  • Assist the Partnership team in communicating policy and product questions with TikTok representatives.
  • Provide AE/AM teams with policy explanations to support client communication.
  • Participate in internal knowledge-sharing sessions and QBR content preparation.

Job requirement

  • 1–3 years of experience in digital marketing or media operations (TikTok experience preferred).
  • Strong data analysis skills: Ability to identify trends, analyze violation patterns, and extract actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with basic data visualization tools is a plus.
  • Good understanding of TikTok Ads Manager’s logic and advertiser ecosystem.
  • Strong research skills and willingness to dive deep into policies and product mechanisms.
  • Good English reading and writing skills (able to understand TikTok policies and technical documentation).
  • Clear communication skills and ability to present complex concepts simply.
  • Nice to Have
    • Experience working in media agencies or TikTok-related roles.
    • Experience handling ad account appeals or risk management cases.
    • Ability to build analytical reports or structured data dashboards.
