The day-to-day activities:

The Market Analyst is someone who is:

• Passionate about solving complex and ambiguous problems.

• Intellectually curious - voracious in the consumption of available information, and relentless in searching for new sources of information.

• Comfortable with failing and possess the drive to keep trying.

• Critical in thinking and with a sharp eye for detail.

• Energetic and thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced working environment.

• Strong in communication skills (both written and oral), and comfortable in networking environments with strangers.

• Fluent in English and another Southeast Asian language, for example Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, Vietnamese, etc.

What We’re Looking Out For:

• Build strong internal and external networks that enable a constant pipeline of information. Regular travel within the SEA region is expected. 

• Gather, analyze and disseminate insights on various business verticals, regional markets, competitors, and any aspect of the external environment to help shape key stakeholders' perspectives. 

• Work closely with the Market Analyst (Data) in the team to integrate qualitative with quantitative insights.

• Design and manage projects that will further the team’s ability to provide valuable insights into the markets of interest.
