Purpose:
- Manage the implementation of the sustainability roadmap with the internal and external stakeholders with a primary focus on chemical management.
Key Responsibilities:
- In collaboration with SEA, manage the local implementation of the adidas Group chemical management program for Footwear T2 suppliers.
- Provide training to build suppliers’ capabilities on chemical management.
- Support the implementation of chemical management audit program with the local Footwear T2 suppliers in coordination with the SEA team.
- Lead Sustainability projects implementation with Footwear T2 suppliers.
- Work with local Footwear T2 suppliers to ensure disclosure of chemical usage in line with the chemical management program.
- Work with suppliers to conduct trials and pilot activities to validate alternative chemical formulations and communicate results to internal stakeholders.
- Work with suppliers to manage the implementation of tools for assessment of suppliers’ chemical formulations to facilitate adoption of preferred chemistry.
- Support the implementation of Sustainable Material Tracking Tool (SMTT) with local suppliers and the Material Sourcing team for relevant materials.
- Engage with local T2 and T3 suppliers to collect feedback and inputs to support the development of the sustainability roadmap and chemical management targets.
- Conduct training for local Footwear T2 and T3 suppliers to educate them on the sustainability programs and adidas group requirements.
- Maintain strong network of relationships with T2 and T3 suppliers, and industry organizations to build knowledge base for sustainability topics.
- Act as the technical expert to advise internal teams and suppliers on chemical formulations related to footwear material manufacturing processes.

Prerequisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
Four-year College or university degree preferably in Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, or Environmental Health.
Minimum 5 years’ work experience in related field.
