Get to know the Role:
We are looking for a Payments manager, for GrabPay Singapore, to lead partnerships with financial institutions and schemes. To perform in this role, the candidate will need to have excellent partnership management skills, be a strong communicator, numerate and experienced in managing payment products, to drive P&L growth.
The day-to-day activities:
- Initiate, engage and develop strategic partnerships to drive spend volume, customer acquisition and end-user engagement for GrabPay in Singapore
- Manage key financial institution (FI) accounts, through understanding of partners’ objectives, pain points and leverage Grab’s capabilities to forge a win-win, with smart use of data
- Engage different seniority levels within FI organisations effectively to encourage effective buy-in and consensus to business opportunities
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including representation from Marketing, Product, Sales Operations, Business development and Customer Experience to drive launch new payment products / services with merchants / partners
- Be point of contact for the partners to resolve issues quickly
The must haves:
- Bachelor’s degree (min. requirement)
- Min. 8 years working experience in partnership management and/or payment product management
- Knowledge and understanding of payment industry
- Proactive, high energy, independent problem solver.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, numerate and quantitative.
- Able to work effectively in, and collaborate with cross functional teams
