Get to know the Role:
- Co-create Business Development plan and roadmap and ensure that this is synchronized with overall Grab strategic direction
- Project manage various Business Development initiatives to ensure it meets company KPIs
- Serve as a key member of the Grab Business Development team to drive overall strategy
The day-to-day activities:
- Become the bridge between the Online Team (Product, Engineering & UX) and our partners;
- Build business cases for integrations and partnerships;
- Negotiate with third-parties to secure loyalty solutions and deals that support maximum reach and consumer value;
- Project manage partnerships end-to-end, from idea generation, product creation, execution, and go-to-market, touching all parts of Grab, from Finance and Legal, to Product and and Engineering, to Marketing and Operations;
- Serve as a key member of the Loyalty Business Development team to drive overall loyalty strategy;
- Co-create business development plan and roadmap and ensure that this is synchronized with the overall Grab strategic direction;
- Start to develop, maintain and leverage senior relationships across SE Asia;
- Set, track and analyze KPIs related to our payments business, and ensure all initiatives meet strategic and financial objectives of the company;
- Ensure all initiatives are customer centric (consumer and drivers) by representing the voice of the customer in all initiatives;
- Proactively work with both local and regional teams to craft and share best practices, efficiently using common resources.
The must haves:
- 3-5 years experience of Loyalty/Rewards Programme, Management Consulting, - Private Equity, Investment Banking, or Business Development experience
- Proven ability to blend, tech, business, strategy, finance and legal concepts to lead complex, multi-faceted, win-win deals
- Be extremely organized, and bring a high level of attention to detail and efficiency while working under tight deadlines and on multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong networking skills and executive maturity to build partner relationships at senior levels to pursue mutually beneficial agreements
- A mindset oriented toward innovation, practicality and collaboration to evolve the loyalty programme while driving operational alignment and consistent fulfillment.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Relevant BA/BS/BEng degree
- Regional language proficiencies a plus e.g. Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu
