1. Position brief Logistics team leader organizes the storage, conversion plan and distribution of goods. In this role you would ensure the right products are delivered to the right customer/location on time and at a good cost. You are also responsible for import/export, transportation, stock control, warehousing and monitoring the flow of goods. Understanding the whole supply chain is important so you can coordinate it effectively and liaise with suppliers of raw materials, conversions, distributors and customers. 2. Job Responsibilities • For Logistic team leader, organization, and documentation is very important for daily operation, any problems must be communicated and documented accurately • The Logistics team leader must have a knowledge of national and international import/export legislation and must be able to effectively troubleshoot any issues that may arise in international freight transportation • Raise PO & coordinate with supplier in Singapore base on sales forecast and stock management/planning to secure a minimum stock level • Calculate and send PO to conversion for produce finish goods base on customer’s PO • Closely monitor all deliveries of raw materials for conversion & receipt of finished products • Working with conversions to ensure finish stock are on schedule • Ensure safety, cleanliness of the warehouse at all times • Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, or shipping • Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues • You may be required to efficiently evaluate the costs of transportation, services and inventory within any budget or distribution strategy. • Monitor product import or export processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements. • Develop risk management programs to ensure continuity of supply in emergency scenarios • Management of logistics matters of export (sell to customer in EPZ)
• Minimum of 3 year experience in Logistics & Warehouse and has experience on customs declaration • You must be educated to degree level and may also be required to hold a Diploma/Degree in Logistics/Warehouse • Familiar with Inward & outward shipping documentations and requirements (COO, Form D & E) • A Logistics team leader must have effective communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks all with an attention to fine detail • Able to work independently with minimum supervision • Able to communicate in English both verbal and written skills • Proficient skills in MS Office – Excel
