Job Summary

The Legal Officer will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to the company’s operations, with a strong focus on commercial law, contract management, and regulatory compliance within the packaging manufacturing sector. This role requires proactive engagement in drafting and reviewing all legal documents and representing the company in negotiations with third parties.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Contract Management & Commercial Law:
    • Draft, review, and negotiate all commercial contracts, agreements, and legal documents to ensure compliance with relevant commercial laws and company policies.
    • Ensure all contracts minimize legal risks and protect the company’s interests, particularly those related to procurement, sales, and intellectual property (if applicable).
    • Provide expert legal advice on the interpretation and application of commercial legislation.
  2. External Relations & Compliance:
    • Work closely with and manage relationships with third parties (government agencies, local authorities, foreign partners, external legal counsels, etc.) on legal and regulatory matters.
    • Ensure the company adheres to all statutory and regulatory requirements, including those specific to manufacturing and business operations in Vietnam.
  3. Risk Management & Litigation Support:
    • Identify potential legal risks and regulatory non-compliance issues across all departments (Sales, Production, HR) and propose mitigating strategies.
    • Assist in handling disputes, claims, and litigation processes, preparing necessary documentation and evidence.
  4. Internal Advisory & Reporting:
    • Provide legal consultancy to the Board of Directors and internal departments on operational and strategic issues.
    • Update management on changes in Vietnamese law and regulations relevant to the company's business.

Job requirement

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law is required.
  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in a corporate legal environment, preferably within the manufacturing or related industry.
  • Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of Commercial Law and Corporate Law (am hiểu sâu sắc các điều khoản Luật Thương mại).
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) for legal document review and communication with foreign partners.
  • Third-Party Experience: Proven experience in handling legal issues and managing negotiations with relevant third parties 
  • Other Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; high level of attention to detail.
