Get to know the role:
We are looking for a strong Lead, Sales & Account Management, GrabPay Singapore, to drive strategic growth and accelerate merchant acquisition effort across Singapore, while successfully leading a diverse team. To perform this role well the candidate will need to have strong communication skills, attention to detail, be numerate, a good track record of sales leadership and driving high business growth.
The day-to-day Activities:
- Develop and implement sales strategy for merchant acquisition, grow existing portfolio to achieve business and revenue goals
- Manage key merchant accounts. Ensure you and your team understand your merchants’ business objectives, pain points, provide the right products and services across Grab to ensure continuous engagement
- Develop and execute partnerships with merchants/ partners for growth, drive activation rate, deliver both on strategic and tactical outcomes
- Special projects / New business. Data driven, analytical and abreast of market landscape developments to identify growth opportunities, launch new acceptance in under penetrated segments
- Lead a team, coach, ensure team members are engaged, contribute to business and revenue goals
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including representation from Marketing, Product, Sales Operations, Business development and Customer Experience to drive launch new products / services with merchants / partners
- Client focused. Be the point of contact for the merchant, understand their business objectives, resolve issues quickly
The must haves:
- Bachelor’s degree (min. requirement)
- Min. 15 years working experience in sales, key account management, finance, payment industries
- Knowledge and understanding of payment processing, schemes, payment products & services, merchant / retail experience is desired
- Experienced team lead or people manager
- Good communication and presentation skills
