Lab Technician (Softline Testing Laboratory - Textile & Garment)

You will also act as the Member of Lab Team Representative in TUV SUD Vietnam office. You will support Lab Manager in managing day-to-day activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform the assigned physical tests and evaluate test results to ensure complying with the standards within turnaround time.
• Review and interpreter test results before giving to data entry
• Capable to read and understand international test standard and follow test procedure properly
• Ensure all equipment are operated properly and done calibration, maintenance/ verification in required interval
• Support lab manager/supervisor for updating quality documents/ test development & validation
• Ensure the chemicals, glass-wear, consumables are stored properly as per safety procedures and do tracking to ensure the minimum stock for smooth operation within the test scope
• Comply with laboratory quality management and safety guidelines, keep working area organized and be safe
• Be responsible for other tasks as authorized or assigned by the Lab Manager/ Supervisor

• Bachelor’s Degree in Garment, Textile, Chemistry, or a related discipline
• 1-2 years experiences in operating textile tests preferred physical tests (tensile/tearing/seam/bursting/pilling…)
• Knowledge of ISO17025 Quality Management System is preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
